Statement
Fashion is a state of liberty and a form of individuality, freeing me from a labeling-based society in the United States. The work manifests itself to reflect the critique of how appropriate it is to be yourself in front of others. Whenever I approach a project, I start with collecting images associated with photography, fibers, paintings, music, and videos. My creations reflect my understanding of gender discussions. I use of digital media, photography, videography, and animation to create a dialogue about genderless fashion. These applications are easily accessible and convenient for me to integrate fashion into my works, as a vehicle of self-expressive emotions and personalities.
