Maria Rosati is an artist working in printmaking examining personal experiences felt in collective ways. In looking at the things that have influenced our perception of self and how we are shaped into the people we become, Maria explores this idea of trace and lineage, inherit with printmaking disciplines, through experiences that balance between big and small, individual but not unique. Maria creates work that continuously build on her experiences, with layering acting as evidence of labour and accumulation. Currently, her work focuses on body neutrality, self, and family, creating project-based, process-driven pieces.
