My work is autobiographical in context but universal in relevance. I examine the many phobias and manias that viewers may find familiar. Through the use of exaggerated human and animal forms in both conjured and factual situations, issues related to emotional and physical frailty, estrangement, and mortality. As an active participant in what we know to be life I am often the central character in the human comedy that is my work. The results, sometimes light-hearted and tender, can also be quite cruel.
