Tampa Bay artist and art educator, Debra Campbell, left her teaching career in 2020 to develop her calling as a professional artist. Although she has been creating art for decades, her current mixed media pieces add depth and layers to her subjects.

Debra's work focuses on nature and environmental issues. Her fantasy landscapes use altered papers and acrylics to create a mysterious, almost meditative quality and seek to present layers of interest. Debra's environmental series presents a symbiotic relationship between animals and their environments, placing elements of nature within the animals.
