In my artwork, I find myself constantly drawn to the theme of my childhood and the influence it has had on me. My work acknowledges the darker, more complex aspects of my childhood with the combination and essence of innocence and its energy. From the joys of my past and the struggles of conflict and loss I aim to to capture both the beauty and the imperfections through the use of texture, material, and subject matter. I hope to evoke emotions and memories that resonate with viewers to be reminded of the influences that existed in forming them.
